The colours of this suite – dark purple, contrasting strongly with parchment white ¬– beautifully offset the period furniture chosen in honour of that wayward, original personality who was the Chevalier de Lorraine, great lover of the Sun King’s brother, Philippe d’Orléans.
His “Grande Suite” offers an open space which combines bed chamber and a smaller, more intimate space, suitable for a third guest if so desired.
